May 8, 2023: ICI Consulting, a leading bank and credit union advisory firm, is a proud sponsor of Swim Across America and the Tampa Bay Open Water Swim held last weekend. This was a meaningful event to raise awareness, and funds, in the fight against cancer. All proceeds will benefit Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital to advance cancer research while supporting local families affected by this disease.

When a child is diagnosed with cancer, no family is ever prepared. In partnership with John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL, we established the ICI Social Work Innovation Fund for Cancer Families.

Our goal is to ease the burden of illness for families who are worried about their child’s health and experience other factors including the stress of caring for other children, financial hardship, loss of jobs and health benefits as well as being away from home while receiving medical treatment. The past three years have been especially difficult for the hospital’s cancer families and social work team as they have needed to increase the support of patients during the global pandemic.
