-Greg Schratwieser, ICI President and CEO
Greg Schratwieser founded ICI (International Consulting, Inc.) in 1994. Greg has over 29 years of experience in building client business cases, overseeing vendor evaluations and implementing and supporting financial service applications. Greg’s background has a strong emphasis on Core Processing, Check Image Exchange and Online Banking Security deployment.

Greg not only guides ICI’s corporate direction but utilizes his vast financial services and technology background to take an active role in enhancing perspective and providing insight on consulting client projects. He has worked with most of ICI’s 220 clients over the past 17 years, including De Novo Banks, Credit Unions to Top 5 U.S. Bank customers.

Greg Schratwieser has consulted with financial institutions and corporations throughout North America, Europe, Australia and Asia. He has given hundreds of speeches within these geographic markets (List of Speech Venues), has written a book on negotiating technology contracts and dozens of financial industry articles.

Before founding ICI Consulting, Greg Schratwieser was employed by Unisys, where he sold Core Processing and Check Processing solutions to financial and commercial organizations. At Prismac Systems, Greg was an International Operations Manager and was responsible for marketing bank, credit union and corporate software solutions in Australia, Asia and New Zealand. He was also a Director of Marketing at Datawares Financial Outsourcing Services. Greg has formerly served on the Board of Directors on an International Telecom Company.

Greg Schratwieser holds a BS / BA from Villanova University, where he was a member of the Business School Honor Society and President of Lambda Tau Delta Fraternity.

Greg’s activities and interests include: Mountain climbing, running Marathons, scuba diving, travel and avid reader. Greg is married with 3 young children.

-Doug Fenix, Partner & Senior Vice President
Doug joined ICI in 2002 and is a Senior Management Consultant. Over the past ten plus years Doug has consulted with numerous large and small bank and credit unions accross the United States.

His specialties include identifying, cost justifying and negotiating leading edge technologies. He has considerable experience in evaluating Core Processing, Check Processing and a vast array of Platform systems. Doug regularly assists clients in developing their technology goals and roadmaps to implement the newly selected solutions.

-Bryan T. Di Lella, Partner & Senior Vice President
Bryan has over 24 years of information technology industry experience in the financial, regulatory and federal government sectors. Over his career, he has consistently focused on developing business relationships by listening to clients’ needs and translating requirements into viable business solutions. In formal satisfaction surveys, clients have consistently recognized Bryan as a contributor to their business success.

Prior to joining ICI, Bryan worked for the Unisys Corporation, an IT systems integrator, in various marketing and project management positions. At Unisys, Bryan developed new technology business in both the financial services industry and the federal government sector and managed major accounts with a proven record of exceeding annual goals. He has achieved distinction within the firm and more importantly, with his clients. He has negotiated over $150 million worth of technology contracts over his career.

Bryan earned his BS in Computer Science at Saint Bonaventure University and his MBA from The George Washington University. He is certified as an Arbitrator with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Dispute Resolution- Board of Arbitrators. Bryan enjoys cycling, skiing and tennis.

-Thomas Humphrey, Partner & Senior Consultant
Thomas Humphrey has over thirty years of experience in financial services management and consulting. As a banker, Tom has deep experience in bank operations and has managed bank operation groups from the Senior and Executive Management levels, with direct management responsibilities for groups as large as 350 and annual budgets exceeding $25M. He has managed numerous system implementations and conversion projects, and projects to consolidate and organize banks during acquisitions.

Prior to joining ICI in 2008, Tom successfully performed in several line and staff management positions in banks and other financial services organizations, with banks that ranged in size from small community banks to large, multi-regional banks. He also spent four years in the bank software industry as the Manager of Research, responsible for the development, installation and support of dispute resolution software products used by the Top 100 U.S. financial institutions.

Tom also has served as a financial institutions consultant for more than seven years. In prior assignments, he worked with Top 50 financial institutions on engagements including operation consolidations, payment systems delivery enhancements, risk analysis, and performance improvements. In recent engagements for ICI, Tom has overseen the combining of two banks while completing core and ancillary system conversions, overseen two other bank core system conversions, conducted a review and provided recommendations for a large credit union to unify payment channels, managed vendor selection processes for image capture for two other large credit unions, and implemented back counter image capture at another large credit union.

Tom has a B.A. degree from the University of Missouri, attended the American Bankers Association National Consumer Credit School, and holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.

-Natalia Dorofeeva, Partner & Senior Consultant
Prior to joining ICI in 2005, Natalia Dorofeeva was a Manager of Financial and Accounting Reporting at Federal Agricultural Mortgage Corporation. In this capacity she had responsibility for running the day-to-day operation of the accounting department, developing and writing new accounting policies and procedures, working with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act and compiling quarterly and annual SEC filings.

Before joining Federal Agricultural Mortgage Corporation, Natalia Dorofeeva was employed at Deloitte in the Greater Washington DC area, where she was a senior auditor. In this position she worked on audits of various financial services institutions and government contractors, including but not limited to the World Bank, Farmers and Mechanics Bank of Frederick, MD (now PNC), ManTech International Corporation, SRA International, Inc. and Robbins-Gioia.

Natalia Dorofeeva attended Washington & Lee University, where she was a scholarship Track Team member. She earned her BS in Business Administration and Accounting from American University. She also holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.

-Kenneth James Trice, Partner & Senior Consultant
Kenny Trice has over 35 years of experience in the banking industry. Kenny has clearly demonstrated that he is a leading scholar and prognosticator in the Check Image Exchange and Payment Processing arena.

As the former chairman of the SVPCO Operations Committee, Kenny oversaw the conversion from ECP (Electronic Check Presentment) to image. His understanding of electronic payments allowed him to speak around the country at various industry group gatherings, such as ECCHO, SVPCO, NEACH, BAI and numerous float conferences. In addition, he worked with FSTC (Financial Services Technology Consortium) on the development of the 16 metrics that are the industry’s standard for image quality and utilized today.

Kenny’s career started with Bankers Trust Company in quality control and check processing, moving to The Bank of New York in their mutual funds area. His final position in the New York City market was with Republic National Bank of New York in check operations and relationship management. Kenny came to Fleet Bank, where he was the Group manager for the Hartford Check Capture site and later part of the float management team. At Bank of America he served on the Image Relationship Team and as Senior Vice President and treasury officer with the Correspondent Banking Team.

Kenny is a graduate of St. John’s University in Jamaica, New York, with a B.S. in Communication Arts.

-Thomas Ballog, Partner & Senior Consultant
Tom Ballog brings more than 30 years of experience as a technology vendor to his position as an ICI Partner and Senior Consultant.

Before joining ICI Consulting, Tom was a Senior Account Executive for FIS (VECTORsgi) a major Check Image Item Processing vendor. Tom was responsible for major banking account relationships with a number of the Top 100 U.S. financial institutions and major Canadian Banks and Credit Unions. Successful applications were focused on high speed image capture, image exchange, remote item capture and online research and adjustments. Tom also successfully marketed Secure Printing solutions to the financial marketplace. Throughout Tom’s career, emphasis was always placed on developing and maintaining strategic account relationships.

As a Vice President for BancTec, a Dallas based check processing software and hardware firm, Tom was responsible for check and retail remittance image processing sales and marketing within the U.S. and Canadian market. During his tenure in Canada, Tom managed large image payment processing sales and service to the Royal Bank of Canada, Bank of Montreal, CIBC, American Express and Revenue Canada. He also assisted in developing and implementing an image check sales strategy within the U.S. Community Bank marketplace.

Earlier business career activities included Sales and Marketing Management within the ATM, Teller Terminal and PC environments within the U.S. financial industry.

-Patrick F. McAuliffe, Jr, Partner & Senior Consultant
Pat McAuliffe has been in the bank and credit union industry for 28 years. Beginning with Burroughs Corporation in 1982 and then later with Unisys, Pat was in the middle of deregulation of the banking industry. Pat’s early career and training involved Core Processing for the financial industry. When Credit Unions and Thrifts were allowed to offer now accounts and share drafts in the 1980s, Pat was teaching his clients the intricacies of check processing. Pat also sold and managed many of the first ATM installations in the Washington DC area.

In the early 1990s, Pat spent several years as a banker. Initially with Washington Federal Savings and then Fairfax Savings and Loan, Pat originated FHA, VA and conventional loans in the greater Baltimore / Washington area. The internet created a new technology era and Pat was recruited into this space to help market and install the first secure public networks for financial transactions with SafeNet and Newbridge Networks. These secure networks or VPNs were installed around the world for many financial, government and quasi government agencies including: SWIFT, FRB, FDIC, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, DISA and the US Army.

In 1999, Pat rejoined his friend and former Unisys colleague Greg Schratwieser at ICI, where Pat has consulted on client business cases, vendor evaluations and assisted in Business Development. Pat’s background in the financial and information security industries as well as his knowledge of encryption technologies and implementation strategies make him an ongoing asset to ICI’s clients.

Pat holds both a BS in Finance and an MBA from Mt. St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, MD, where he was a member of the Varsity Baseball team.
