The Project Plan to implement Strategic Recommendations can be summarized by the following Deliverables, Goals and Objectives:

Desired outcomes from a successful strategic planning engagement

  • The implementation of an effective monitoring, reporting and revision process to support the written plan.

  • A better understanding within the organization of the commitment and accountability requirements associated with successfully conducting the Action Plan activities and meeting the Strategic Plan goals.

  • Implement monitoring / reporting processes and assist in follow up training of staff personnel to ensure that objectives are met. Additional assistance will be provided for any previously unplanned initiatives to receive appropriate review and approval based on the Strategic Planning process.

  • ICI will oversee the development of Action Plans to address the goals and specific objectives. The Action Plans will be formalized as Project Plans with timelines and accountabilities to aid in monitoring and managing the activities and reporting progress. This process will involve staff responsible for the Action Plans in the planning and drafting to ensure buy-in at the levels directly impacted by the Plans.

  • ICI will provide a Project Management Plan that will serve as the road map for the implementation project:

  • Develop Preliminary Project Plan
       - Develop estimated tasks and timelines
       - Determine estimated Client resources needed

  • Project Scope of Work: The specific Scope of Work, including mutually agreeable timeframe, expectations and refined deliverables will be jointly developed during the initial Client / ICI Implementation Meetings.

  • Project Deliverables
       - Custom Project Plan incorporating specific tasks and resource assignments
       - Status reporting framework and procedures

  • Project Plan: ICI will develop and submit a project plan to support the consolidation activities within the scope of the Consolidation Project.
       - Prioritize opportunities
       - Assign responsibilities
       - Develop timetable and identify critical milestones, including periodic reporting schedules
       - Define project risks and establish a mechanism for monitoring and mitigating conversion risks
       - Assist in the development of a comprehensive change management strategy
       - Include contract specifics in Project Plan and confirm with client and vendor installation team that all parties understand client’s expectations

  • Conduct Project Kickoff meeting with all participating parties

  • Conduct Status Meetings: Conduct weekly project status meetings (onsite/offsite) between Client project owners and ICI with monthly status report to senior/executive management.

  • Project Meetings: Conduct weekly project meetings/conference calls with appropriate attendees and update Project Plan.

  • Onsite presence: Periodic onsite visits, as scheduled and approved, will provide a close working relationship and ensure the project moves forward as planned.

  • Relationship Management: Intermediary between client and selected vendors for project issues.
