In April 2025, ICI Consulting held its Annual Meeting, bringing together team members from across the country for a productive all-hands event. The gathering was an opportunity to reconnect, share insights, and align on our mission of delivering unparalleled value to our clients. The impact of the collaborative sessions, in addition to spontaneous conversations, was inspiring and reaffirmed the strength of our team as well as our shared purpose.

Ed Viesturs elevated the event with an unforgettable keynote speech. Ed summited Everest 7x, is a renowned American mountaineer and author. Ed’s reflections of climbing the world’s tallest peaks were more than just thrilling—they were deeply instructive.

Ed shared unique insights about the critical importance of preparation, risk management, and trust in the team around you, which strongly parallels our approach to guiding financial institutions through core evaluations and conversions. Ed’s message reminded us that success in climbing and consulting depends on discipline, resilience and never losing sight of one’s goal.

We were also honored to hear from Keith Thurman, World Champion Welterweight Boxer, whose perspective brought his own brand of intensity and drive to the meeting. Keith’s path to becoming a champion underscored the value of hard work, adaptability and mental focus—qualities that strongly resonate with the challenges and rewards of our consulting practice. His stories of training, strategy and staying sharp under pressure reflected the same commitment we bring to every client engagement.
